Hey all. I rarely post - always been a lurker, but this time I am stumped.

I have a 2G iPhone with the newest 2.2.1 firmware.
Recently I noticed the battery life depleating FAST, so I restored it with no problem. (thinking this might fix it)
After setting up my Exchange Activesync account, the phone does NOT sync old emails, and calendar meetings. ONLY syncs new emails received, and new calendar meetings. Also, I can email out - and those show up in my Sent folder.

Also...the battery drains super super super fast. Within half an hour it is half full or close to it - with NO activity being done on the phone.

And finally...when the Activesync account's "Push" setting is ON, all incoming calls ring once..then go to voicemail. BUT, I can dial out to any phone perfectly fine.

Any help is appreciated on (I know) many issues.

I have also tried downgrading the firmware to previous versions.

Ya know what...I think something in my internals is jacked up.
Those $99 3G's are looking mighty scrumptious right now..
