HomeKit was working for me yesterday morning, but about 10:00 AM when I went to turn on our water pump I found at all but one device (including the water pump) said "No Response". I checked the status of HomeKit at my condo (400K away) and found the same thing.
I rebooted both of my HomeKit hubs (Apple TVs) that brought one device online, but knocked off the device that was previously responding.
I scanned the LAN and found that none of the non-responding devices was online.
Then I went around and performed the tedious task of cycling the power of each and every device. That brought all of them back online.
But, why should I have to do that? And, how to deal with the condo where, from here, I can't recycle the power?
What's the use of home automation if you have to be physically present to keep everything working?
