No Ring

Puzzled that a six month old phone not the 3GS has stopped ringing and their are no melodies - reinstalled all software and now sent back to repair centre who say that as they cannot see moisture censor colour so not guaranteed
A very poor service in France where I have moved to since UK
What can I do

Did the phone get wet, or did this happen all of the sudden? Is the phone vibrating? There could be a problem related to the mute switch on the side of the phone. Please provide some more info.

Did u restore from a backup when you restored the phone? My phone did the same thing. But after a restore and set up as new iPhone everything worked fine

If you did not drop in Water - Then you are covered by Apple

But if you did drop it in Water, then the Dock Connector might have gone bad. Try finding some repair shop who can fix it for you. Make sure the Repair shop is using genuine Apple Parts.
