Watch does not have Safari which makes sense as websites would be impossible to read
However the upcoming Apps will decide the usefulness of the watch. Apple says they have over 1000 Apos submitted and the surely this will grow
Now the question is which Apps can you use

the kind of apps that we'll have are those where you can simply see a snapshot of information.

pages of text are never going to work...simple images/icons or a couple of lines of text will

I take it that there will be an app store update for Watch apps over the next few days or will they just appear under the iPhone. I presume that you will need your iPhone to install apps on the watch

I'd still like the option to view mobile websites via the Safari app. LMAO! I know several people who have optimized their sites to work with watches.

I queried this when trying the different watches today and was told that if you want to search on the web beyond Siri and other apps, you would pull out your phone. No Safari on Apple Watch.

What happens if you ask Siri a question that usually takes you to a web search?
I hope it at least shows breakdown of what was found, sometimes you can get the answer in that web list.

Handoff to your phone.

If you go to the  watch app on your iPhone it displays a section of the App Store that has  watch compatible apps. It will go live on the 24th.

Have you tried a demo version of the watch? Screen is tiny, mobile version of sites is one thing, watch versions of sites would be aweful. Maps is bad enough ....
