No search button youtube

Hi guys
A friend of mine has a problem that we can't solve: she has a Mac and she uses Safari; her youtube suddenly has lost the search button and she has to press enter to search. Also the suggestions while writing the text are disappeared.
Can you kindly help us to have those two "things" back?

Have her check to make sure she doesn't have any Safari extensions, plug-ins or adblockers preventing the site from displaying properly.
