I've noticed lately that when I indicate "accept cookies NEVER" in Safari Preferences Security...

And even AFTER I wipe remove all previous cookies from various newsites, aol, etc.,

And then put NEVER accept cookies in the Preferences..

I STILL GET THESE COOKIES FROM VARIOUS WEBSITES SHOWING UP IN MY CACHE.

I did it just now, again, after resetting the NVRAM.

Sure enough. I log on to Safari. Check cookie status. Google is right there watching me, even when NEVER accept cookies is indicated.

I don't like this at all. How do I clear the cookies and KEEP THEM FROM COMING BACK?

If you quit Safari after accumulating these Cookies and check the cookies list are they gone?

My guess they are transient cookies that are set in the session scope of whatever sites you're seeing them used on. Once Safari is quit (not just the window closed) they should go away.
