No seen/checked elsewhere: SMB and login items

Just wondering, did someone:

- Check if there are any improvements for SMB in 10.11 ? Some, including myself, were suffering from access errors when you copy a file from a local disk to a NAS (errors complaining that the file is locked and/or can not be removed because it is in use). AFP does not show these problems.

- When you want to mount NAS shares under login items and tick "hide", the Finder windows STILL open at logon. Has this been fixed ?

Bump -- this is a critical question for a lot of people using Macs in professional environments. Has the SMB situation improved at all??
