No Serial Key

Does anyone else notice that their is no serial key when you install SL? I know with Windows their always is, but I couldn't find it on my upgrade box just making sure there isn't one.

Apple has never required a serial number for Mac OS X.

None of apple's operating systems have ever had serial number keys other then apple server operating systems. Kinda nice. I think they intentionally do it so it fosters switchers.

I think so too. Let switchers use OS X for free; it won't be long before they buy a nice new Mac.

Since I switched to Mac I started to pay for software too. Never had the feeling that there was anything worth paying for on Windows. But now I don't mind when it's something like OS X or a great app that I don't only use, but really enjoy using. [/fanwank]
