Hey I just jailbroke my 3.1.2 iphone with pwnage. After, there was no signal from my carrier. Anyone have any suggestions. Right now I am on a custom firwmware at 3.1.2 with modem firmware 4.26.08. I tried to restore it to a regular 3.1.2 but got an error saying iphone isnt eligible for the requested build. I need it both jailbroken and unlocked. Please help. Thanks in advance.
Ps. I know I have another thread but the situation is much different from the old title for that post thats why I created a new post.

If on official carrier, did you uncheck Activate phone ? (Leave official sim in when installing IPSW)
If on unofficial carrier, did you check Activate phone ? (No sim in phone when installing)

Might have to build another IPSW as indicated above.

Yes, checking Activate will cause the official sim to not work.

Once you activate it with official sim, new owner (or you) can unlock with Ultrasn0w. T-mobile sim will then work. That is actually a benefit as push notifications will work properly.

Exactly.
Activate it officially with your sim and then install ultrasnow for the new seller and he will be golden. All they have to do is stick their Tmobile sim.
