no service after redsnow jailbreaking

no i don have a n AT&T simcard as stated wher i relocated to,last night i jailbroke my phone 3gs to 5.1.1 using the latest redsnow 0.9.11b4 and it all went well and itunes resored all my apps,contacts and all but the problem now is "no service" my baseband is 05.16.05,please help

Are you trying to use it on unofficial carrier?
That baseband cannot be unlocked.

Just to be clear jailbreaking and unlocking are different. As stated above, you're current baseband cannot be unlocked. It can be jailbroken, but not unlocked.
