"No Service" at&t outage?

I have a iPhone 3GS which was working fine as of last night. This morning, I realized the phone had no service, and after repeated attempts to get it back, (resetting network connections, etc), the phone is still lacking service.

anybody else hearing or dealing with the same issue? I am in the Philadelphia area.

NYC here and had the same thing over the weekend. listening to Pandora in the car and it goes dead. reboot multiple times, nothing. on tueasday night i forgot to charge it and it died. wednesday morning i charge it and it works fine.

check Settings > General > About. I think. mine said invalid SIM or something like that
