I have a 3G, 16g, running on 4.0.1 Modern Firmware 5.13.04.
My phone has been jailbroken and unlocked for almost 2 years with no problems. A couple weeks ago, I went to Utah, I got off the plane and my phone had no service. From then on, I can not get service for more than a couple minutes. It goes in and out, I literally watch the bars go from 5 full bars, to 4, 3,2, 1 and then no service. Then all of a sudden, full bars again. I am missing phone calls and text messages. I can not figure out what is going on.
I have tried:
-getting a new sim
-resetting the phone
-hard reset
-turning airplane mode off/on
-resetting with out a sim card
-resetting with airplane mode on
-putting tape on sim card -updated my itunes
-fully charged in the wall
-wiped the whole phone, re-jailbroke and unlocked it
I am stuck.
I have spent hours searching through forums looking for answers. I am stumped and would love any feedback anyone had. Thanks Lindsey
