NO service Problems ... Anyone else

If I'm somewhere like a basement with no service, when I come
Back into regular service it doesn't connect to any network not even edge... Then I have to reset network settings. I've had to do it 3x so far. I never had issues with the 4 , but just this 5
 
I haven't had the issue yet on my iPhone 5 but did have the same problem on my 4S. I just turned airplane mode on and then back off and it reconnected to the network just fine.
