No Shared Section in Finder

I can't seem to find any of my networked computers in Finder today. they were there when I first installed Lion, but today they disappeared. The section is turned on in Finder preferences and I've just trashed my finder preferences to no avail. any thoughts?

Restart the Mac. If it doesn't help, restart the shared machines or the network router/hub/switch. There are many problems which would give those same symptoms.
