Hello,

Yesterday I got a free 22" monitor, with VGA output to hook up to my Macbook Pro (13" i5 early 2011) to what seems to be the Thunderbolt port. I needed a MDP adapter so i bought one, they only had DVI-D (i guess) to MDP. Now I've got the VGA cable>VGA to DVI-D Plug>DVI-D to MDP adapter. My macbook pro recognizes the display, but when I turn in on, it says No Signal Detected. I turned the monitor on and off a few times but it doesn't help.

Thanks in advance
