Hi there,

I'm having a slight problem. I'm using a Monoprice MDP>HDMI convertor, connecting my 2011 MBP via HDMI to my LG HDTV.

When I plug it in (or turn the TV on while connected), the screen on my Mac flashes blue (like the blue screen on startup) and then comes back to my regular screen. This shows my Mac is detecting my TV.

On my TV, when I plug my Mac in, "New external input is connected. Do you want to use this?" - This shows my TV is detecting something is plugged in. When I attempt to switch to HDMI, it says "connecting" for a few seconds, and then says "no signal".

I've tried lower resolutions on my computer - all the way down to 800x600 - to no avail.

Whats up?

I got it to work, but it ONLY works when the Discrete graphics is enabled... Once it switches to integrated, the signal drops.
