Are there no more sim card opener tools that come with the iPhone4s - The last iPhone I had was the 3g years ago - so excuse my ignorance.

I don't think the sim slot opens on the 4S - My receipt says embedded sim and nothing is popping the tray open.

A paperclip should work. But yes they stopped that a couple of cycles ago.

Most be a location thing, as both the ones my wife and I picked up today most definately had the SIM tools in them.

Got one with my 4 last year too.

:)

I was under the impression that they had stopped providing the little SIM tool after the 3GS, but who knows. I don't remember getting one with my 4G last year, but then again I wasn't really looking for it either.

Yeah, because I'd really feel the need to lie about the likes.....

Here you go.....

From a very quick google:

"It is not included with the iPhone 4 sold in the U.S. since it shouldn't be needed. A new AT&T micro-SIM card is pre-installed with every iPhone 4 sold in the U.S. For an iPhone 4 that is sold as officially unlocked by Apple direct in some countries, the ejector tool is included. "

Makes perfect sense to me.........

This. A bit silly imo, they should just throw them in regardless of location.
