so when I leave my phone at home and wear my Apple Watch out I can’t access Siri through my watch.

My phone is at home with full LTE strength and my watch had 4 green dots. I said hey Siri once I woke my watch up and it said my watch and iPhone had no Siri connection.

Once I got home and next to my watch Siri worked. Any idea of what is wrong?

Thanks!

did anything else that needed an internet connection work?

siri on the watch shouldn't need the phone (even remotely) to work

I really didn’t try. I just wanted to make a call which I could by accessing my phone app on my watch. I just couldn’t say hey Siri and say call whoever.

I would try and restart the watch. That is what fixed my problem. Out of the box, Ihad the same issue with my SS S4.

as xaqt said, try restarting the watch

if that doesn't work, try unpairing and re-pairng the watch, That seems to clear up a lot of strangeness.
it will back-up when you unpair, and you can restore from that backup. so you'll loose nothing, but the hour or so it takes to complete.

Won’t I have to have Verizon reactivate my cellular plan?

I’ve restarted it, unpaired then paired it again and Siri still won’t work.

Could it be because I just activated my cell plan today?
[doublepost=1543722001][/doublepost]Maybe Siri needs to download overnight?

Did you call Siri through AirPods. I found I got this problem from time to time when using AirPods but if I just activate Siri directly with the watch it will work 100%.

Mine is cellular and happens when I use Siri at home with WiFi it works great but when I leave and it transitions over to LTE/cellular - once on cellular when I tap to wake and say hey Siri then say call someone it will not work.
