No Siri Translate on a Mac

I'm just curious as to why Siri's translate feature, that works on my iPad and iPhone, doesn't work on any of my Macs? All Siri will do when asked to translate something is say "Here's what I found on the web". Is it supposed to work or is there a different feature set for mobile and computer?
