Along with my Powerbook G4, I have a Lombard Powerbook G3 w/384mb RAM, running OS 10.3 and iLife '04. When I choose an album and click on slide show, I hear music, but there are no images. Any idea what might be happening here? ON a possibly related note, when I choose a slide show for the screen saver (i.e Beach or Forest) it plays through the images once and then goes to a black screen. Any ideas?

Low Video Ram Possibly
I had the same issue with a iBook with 8 Mbs of Video ram going to video out. The screen effects required more memory. Try lowering your resolution to the minimum. That is what I did and I was able to see the slideshow.
