I have an iPhone 3G, 3.0 beta 5. The phone is stuck permanently on headphones.

Tried the plug/unplug step, did not work.

Restored 3.0 beta 5 three separate times, nothing works.

Phone calls come through and the phone rings, but I cannot hear anything. Playing voicemails does not work unless played with speaker.

I was told by the Apple 1800 # that they would not fix it because it is running beta software. If I bring it into an Apple store will they do something?

iPod plays but no sound comes out unless headphones are plugged in.

Any recommendations?

Can you go back to 2.2.1 then contact Apple? Maybe that will fix the problem anyway.
