no sound devices found (system>sound), after installing and re-installing SoundFlower

I wanted to make a screen video with QuickTime but it did not record the sound.
I was advised (google) to install SoundFlower. Did not work. So reinstalled SoundFlower.
After this all my -sound out- and -sound in- (system prefs>sound) devices have disappeared.
I re-started with P+R+Command plus the other one :). Did not work.
There is not a lot I find when searching.
And so,, yes .. what to do ..
(OS Sierra 10.12.6)
