Just yesterday, I noticed that when I open mail, or click on mail and there's nothing to download from gmail, there's no little 'tinking' sound, and when I send mail, there's no 'airplane' sound. It was working fine earlier yesterday. I can't find anywhere to check if the sound was turned off. And sometimes, when I check for new mail, the sound effect I've chosen doesn't work (although I just downloaded a new message and it worked then). Can anyone help me. I have a 3.06 imac with the latest version of osx leopard. Strange -- everything was working fine a few days ago.
