No sound from right speaker (3G)

Morning all,

Just noticed a strange 'problem' with my iPhone, while watching a few videos I noticed that the right hand speaker wasnt working, only the left hand one was. I havnt had a iPhone previous to this and I dont know anyone that had a 3G so im not entirely sure if it is indeed a fault. Tried music, videos, apps, ringtones etc but all come from the left speaker.

Anybody come across this yet? Or am I just being a moron?

Dude, its not a speaker, its the mic. I have a 3g also. trust me.

Left grill thingy is a speaker and the right one is a microphone. This was the same on the old iPhone too.

Ah thanks guys... Was being a moron as I thought Just saved me the embarrisment of wondering into a store and asking

Me too.
I was about to march to the genius bar.
Christ, I would have felt like a moron.
The problem with this is that playing super monkey ball or any game for that matter that is held in landscape mode means that the speaker cuts out entirely.

At least now I can get back to downloading apps ...

Wow, I can't believe I am seeing this thread again. I've seen this about 7 times in the past month, does no one read the documentation that comes with a device any more?
