Ok, long story short, was getting beachballed like crazy in a 2 week old MBP and took it to the Apple Store. The found out it was an HD failure and replaced it. Now, there is no sound from the computer. I hear the Boot up sound but nothing after that. Here's what's weird:

-I go into the System prefs and there are no speakers listed
-I try to push the button and the overlay comes up but it's greyed out and it shows the mute sign
-It's not on mute

I initially thought that maybe they forgot to connect the speakers when they took the HD out but the two aren't even remotely connected. Any ideas? Time to go back to the Apple store.....been there 5 times over the last 2 weeks, the magic is gone now I hate that place
