No sound in iMovie '08 when playing

Help, I'm in a kind of annoying situation here. I'm editing this video that I imported directly from a camera - that all went very well - but when I want to play a part it just doesn't play the sound? you'd think something went wrong with importing the sound, but when you hover over the clips (you know, skimming trough the frames) the sound is there. I am so confused about this, hopefully someone can clear this up for me! i'd be forever grateful.

i have no idea why, but when i got back from getting some tea the sound had magically appeared and everything was working fine. i'm baffled, but happy. i guess this can be closed!
