I am having problems with sound and haptic notifications, definitely in iMessage and possibly in an app called Haiku which is my iOS client for our patient medical health record (Epic). I will get sound and haptics in iMessage if my screen is awake whether or not I am in iMessage or another app. I will reliably NOT get sound or haptics but will get badges if my screen is asleep. I have missed notifications in Haiku with urgent patient matters too. I somehow have removed Haiku from Summary notifications or Focus and it's working again but nothing makes iMessage work as before. Anyone else fix iMessage yet? Anyone else having this issue? There is a similar thread in the iOS forum.

I have now figured the problem is related to the Do Not Disturb settings in Focus. For many months, I had do not disturb settings 10p to 7a. They worked fine through the early public betas of iOS 15. But now, it would seem that having any Do Not Disturb settings silences iMessage even outside of the specified hours. I deleted my old scheduled hours on my iPhone 13 Pro and re-added them. The bug remains when the hours are on. The sound and haptics work when the hours are off or if the screen is awake, or, if iMessage is open on another MacOS or iOS device.
