No sound on my iphone 4!

Okay so i had been using headphones few days ago.However I think the sound was still working as far as Im aware. So when i connect the headphones theres sound.Other then that theres no sound at all.Unless its on speaker. So no sound when:
i ring people
play music on the ipod

there is sound:
when headphones are in
also when its on speaker but only when on the phone.

When i put the voulme up or done it says headphones even when the headphones are disconnected.It keeps jus saying that.
Tried everything, restore,hard restore, blowing in where the headphones go, the headphones in and turning it off etc! Please help!

I took restore and hard restore as reboot and hard reboot. Not sure what you mean by hard restore. When you restored did you set the phone up as new? Restoring from backup can bring back old problems. If you did then the only recourse you have is to contact Apple.
