Hi all. I have a 16 month old Verizon iPhone4 that I cannot hear anything from the earpiece on when I place or receive a call. Everything else works normally. I can hear sounds from apps, my music, etc from the internal speaker. The headphones work like they should, when I pull the headphones the external speaker activates, etc. Besides the earpiece not working everything else works perfectly. I can hear the phone over the external speaker, and through the headphones.

I've tried :

turning bluetooth on/off
spraying the headphone jack with compressed air
running the hairdryer on low over the headphone port
restoring the iphone to factory settings
updating the software to 5.1.1
verified the mute switch isn't on
verified the volume is full up

Doesn't seem like a headphone issue though because everything works fine from the headphones. I thought maybe it was stuck in headphone mode, but my apps and music play fine over the external speaker.

Any other suggestions?
