No sound when burning AVI to DVD using Roxio Toast Titanium

I am trying to burn movies downloaded via torrents that are AVI format. The movie plays back fine with both picture and sound when opened up with a DiVX player. When I use Toast Titanium (10), I get no sound after it encodes and burns.

What I'm doing:

1. Select the "burn DVD" format
2. I leave the settings as default
3. select the AVI movie as the source
4. Hit the big red record button

Someone please help!!
