No sound when connecting iPhone to MagSafe charger

When I connect my iPhone 16 Pro Max to a MagSafe charger, I can see a charging animation, but there is no sound. If I connect a USB-C cable to the iPhone I can hear a charging sound. Is it just me, or is it bug? iOS 18.5
 
FWIW I just checked with my 16 Pro. I don't get any sound effect with the MagSafe, but I do get the haptic effect. I can't remember a sound, ever, but I could be misremembering. Did you get a sound in the past?

EDIT: I repeated with the MagSafe plugged into USB C before connecting it to the phone and got the sound that time. Did it again without the MagSafe connected to USB and no sound.
