No sound when docking iPhone...

This just recently started happening...

Whenever I would dock my iPhone, I would always get the charging sound, and if people send me a text I would hear that as well.

Now recently, I put the iPhone on the dock and I don't hear anything, and when someone txts or an alert goes off there is no sound. The only sound I hear is when a call comes in.

It started every now and then, but now it happens chronically. Any ideas to what could be causing this? and or has it happened to anyone else here? Let me know.

For the txt messaging, make sure your settings are setup correctly. For the other part, I'm not sure if there's a setting for that or not. You could always restore the iPhone firmware.
