No sounds for messages from lockinfo

Im a bit stumped.
I have lockinfo and for some reason when the phone is sitting there doing nothing and i get a message there is no sound i.e tone selected for message doesnt work just vibrates.
If i unlock the phone and get a message the tones works.
Anyone got any ideas?
