Hi,

I was going to buy an episode of Star Trek Enterprise today 02/10/2007 on the itunes store and it is no where to be found on the store. Can someone teel me what happened to them? have you heard anything about it?

Thanks

I didn't even know they were selling Enterprise on the iTS. Have you seen them there before? As far as I know, they are only selling Star Trek movies, not any of the TV shows.

yes

Yes they have been selling the original series for quite a while now and they recently added star trek enterprise, but they are gone now..why? i dont know.......

That's interesting, I do remember TOS being there, but I never heard about Enterprise. It is odd that neither of them are there anymore...

yeah i was wondering if they are going to replace the old TOS for the remastered ones, because when they first put them on some were remastered and some were not. But Star trek Enterprise does not need remasterization.. Im so mad they didnt even say they are temporarely gone or sometihng.....

The episodes that have been remastered were posted. Non remastered were posted in the original form.

From startrek.com
UPDATE 02/09/07: Due to technical reasons, Star Trek and Star Trek: Enterprise are temporarily unavailable from the iTunes Store. We will announce any developments as they happen.

I know TOS was bing remastered for High Def transmission - replacing the 60s visual effects with new CGI and cleaning up the images. Wonder if they are going to put them out in iTunes and so discontinued the old recordings...

Or it may be nothing to do with the High Def version :D

Uhg. You're kidding me? They're "special editioning" Star Trek now? Well, I spose we can just take all of my childhood memories and crap on them.

Yep afterall, everyone knows it's impossible to buy the already released original Original Series on DVD. As a huge Star Trek fan, I'm really excited about the new TOS effects (assuming they're well done). Of course, I also have zero problem with the Star Wars Special Editions (and later modifications) and greatly prefer them to the originals.

Noo! Star Trek is my number 1 favorite TV show, and I almost peed my pants when I found out it was on iTunes. Now I'm gonna' go hang myself.

Seriously though, huge bummer. I hope whatever is wrong will be sorted out soon.

itunes

yes i read the article in startrek.com. Seems like tyhey will be up there soon. How weaird only star trek tv shows affected by the "tecnical difficulties"...Steve is going to be mad..he likes star trek!!! I wish they put Star trek voyager on itunes soon as well....that's my only incentive to buy the :apple: TV...

I'm an original Star Trek fan from the 60's.I'm guessing "TOS" stands for "The Original Series" ?

Yes it does. The only two shows that don't really have an acronym are Voyager and Enterprise. Otherwise the other 3 are regularly referred to as TOS, TNG and DS9

I had Star Trek in my shopping cart for later purchase and everyone is correct. It won't let me buy it!.

Well i refer to voyager as Voy. and enterprise as Ent. Star trek.com also refer to those shows in that way. Anyways, i hope apple puts them on itunes. I really like Voyager it's my fav! :apple:
