Has anyone else noticed this?

We no longer get the subject line in our notifications from Mail.app!

Have to open the actual email to see what the subject it.

My bosses send me plenty of emails with only the subject line filled out, and no message in the body. As a results, a lot of my mail notifications in the lockscreen, notifications center and banners look like this:

Smith, John
This message has no contect.

I know that most of you will respond "this is beta 1! it's just a beta!" BUT this feature seems to have been decidedly removed in their strive for simplifying. It seems like the type of choice that won't get reversed unless they hear some noise that it actually is a detriment to a lot of users. Hence the thread and me asking how you all feel about this.
