or is my brain malfunctioning?

Where did someone talk about the sim during the keynote?

the keynote press better may look at the iphone afterwards and find out:)

Stopid that apple leaves us in the dark about this.
Did they talk about micro sim at their iphone 4 announcement?

i guess it will be at the technical specs of the phone when the apple site puts up the iphone 5 page.

What I am interested in is making sure the verizon model is compatible with overseas LTE as I might be headed overseas for a while starting in April.

I'm swapping my s3 for one of these so I need to know if I can just transfer the sim or not?

Will find out soon, im sure.

In the text on the design page:

iPhone 5 is just 7.6 millimetres thin. To make that happen, Apple engineers had to think small, component by component. They created a nano-SIM card, which is 44 per cent smaller than a micro-SIM.

ah. thanks guys. thats confirmed as well....

now onto the tutorials and videos on how to make the current micro sim smaller.

Or not :(

The nano SIM is 15% thinner compared to its previous two generations, so even if it is cut in the same size, the thickness would be different, meaning the cut micro SIM cannot fit into the nano SIM slot.

you know thats just 0,09mm. in metal constructions, thats sometimes a size wich can be used with insertions.
Maybe it wouldnt need to be sanded at all....but if it does, 5 times scrub and done. get a digitial calipper for the exact checks everytime you scrub.

I like how one the tech spec pictures they don't even point out the Nano-SIM. Sneaky sneaky.
