i just got me on of these beauties, and what a beauty it is, but I cant find an option for tap to click anywhere, maybe there is none, would of been useful, still, my then generic pc had tap to click.

Anyways...just making sure.:)

yeah I did...trackpad doesnt have a tap to click option, and from my web search I cant figure out if 12" pbooks do or dont by default...strange...

I read that the feature first existed in the G3's.

In Leopard there is actually a trackpad panel in system preferences.

yeah, I am in the trackpad window from settings, but nothing there...I read about it too on the g3s...strange.

ok, found it in help, it's called "clicking" and you have to enable it in the trackpad menu, thanks.

Looks like you found it, but just to verify, yes that machine does have tap click.
