I bought Elgato TB Mini 3 since it supports 165Hz/HDR on Display Port. And yes it does under Big Sur on my MBP 16.
Unfortunately box is not recognised under Boot Camp Windows 10 - TB controllers are seen as devices with no drivers.
Any ideas what to do? Intel NUC TB drivers does not work.

This dock appears to use Alpine Ridge Thunderbolt controller which is limited to DisplayPort 1.2. macOS can do HDR to DisplayPort 1.2 even though HDR is a new feature of DisplayPort 1.4 (I'm not sure how this works though). In that case, any Thunderbolt dock with a DisplayPort or second Thunderbolt port can do the same. DisplayPort 1.2 uses HBR2 which has enough bandwidth for 165Hz+HDR up to 1080p, 140Hz+HDR up to 1440p, 60Hz+HDR up to 4K. The AGDCDiagnose command will tell you the connection type and timing and pixel format and color space. The ioreg command can be used to verify the type of Thunderbolt controller.

As for the problem with Windows, I'm not sure what to do there. Do the Thunderbolt devices appear in the Device Manager (view by connection type)? You should see, under a Thunderbolt bus, at least a USB controller for the USB port. The Ethernet port will be handled by a USB device connected to that, or by an Ethernet controller. An app like Driver Genius 21 can help update drivers. You shouldn't need any drivers to use the DisplayPort or HDMI outputs.
