Hello,
Last night I had a major crash I believe it was caused by MacKeeper deleting some files it considered "leftovers" before I deleted the files in the "leftovers" section I used the live chat and the software guy I talked to said it would be fine. Well all was fine until I restarted then it was horrible the computer itself was fine but no apps would load the MacKeeper icon in the menu bar was unresponsive and had spinning beach ball over it, wifi said no hardware detected, and when you click an app it just seemed to bounce forever, other than VLC it would play movies. So I'm guessing MacKeeper decided that some serious system files were just junk. so went to restore to last TM back up restarted Mac held down option selected recovery 10.8 TM backup recovery it detected the TM partition on my external hard drive but on the next screen it said no backups were available...if I started the Mac normally and went into TM I could see all of my backups so what the hell is wrong with TM?
Sorry for the long story just couldn't believe this would happen and especially from a program like MacKeeper.
