no transfer photos to iPhone

I have an iPhone 4S, as soon as the rush is over I'll up to a 5s
I have every photo I own on iPhoto on my iMac on my phone. When I sync the new phone for the first time I do not want any photos transferred from Mac to iPhone.
How can I accomplish this?

I think these will help when the time comes. I always fear erasing photos off my Mac.
