I hope i just missed something, somewhere. But it seems that no upgrades, or improvements were made for the iPod touch's battery. Anyone know of any upgrades concerning the battery life? Wouldn't a new and improved battery be a necessity considering the the boost in power and performance? if the upgrades are still running on the 2nd generation battery, wouldn't that decrease the battery even more than before, resulting in shorter charge cycles?

Check the tech specs on Apple.com. The 2G got 36 hours music (rated) and the new one gets 30.
