No user account list in menu bar..help plz

I've just set up another user account on my imac, but the drop down list of account names doesn't appear in the menu bar (see pic) like it does on my laptop. How can I get this list to appear?

Enable Fast User Switching in Log-In Options in Accounts in System Prefs.
