I just uploaded a bunch of clips into iphoto, but when I go to imovie, they are not there. I have quit and re launched each app, but that did not help. Please advise...thanks! Oh and this is on a macbook pro. :apple:

Click the icon highlighted with the red border to have access to your iPhoto Library. Or did you already do this?

yes, it is the flip. :) I imported them into iphoto instead so I could store them there. I then deleted them from my flip, so they aren't there anymore. And yes, photos do appear!

Then you have to do it differently I guess.
Locate the videos via Finder (this guide should show you how) and copy, NOT move, the videos to another folder.
Then use the File > Import > Import Movies command in iMovie.

Next time maybe use iMovie to import the footage, if you plan to edit them. If not, iPhoto will be fine.

One easy way i use; I do this with my iphone & camera.
If you have video that you want to go straight to imovie, I will have imovie already open, and then plug in device and you can pick what you want to import from there.
Another is; I save all video to documents and drag video clips from there into imovie "event library" pane on left side.
I didn't see this exact method of simsaladimbamba's link... which can work too.
I hope i didn't spam you... as Simsaladimbamba will put me.:)

I only said, that it looks like SPAM, as the post you made here
does not contain any valid information. It just looked like many of the SPAM posts do, where no valid content is given or sometimes is just a bad copy&paste job of some other post in that thread.
Anyway, your post in this thread provides good information.

I know, i made that look very stupid. It's hard to explain it and show the way You , GGJ Studios and others post great ways of doing things. Thanks
