Hi everyone,

I recently picked up a Mac Mini G4 1.25Ghz.

No video via DVI but I get video via DVI to VGA adapter. Its odd.

cable is fine, monitor is fine, I've tested it with my other machines.

How do i fix it?

(it seems few others are having this issue, but no solutions.. :( )

I recently bought a dvi to hdmi and I tried it and I didnt think it worked for about two weeks and then I purchased a new hdmi cable and I decided to try it on my dvi to hdmi and it worked perfect and the hdmi cable I had tried first worked fine on other things like my ps3 but not on my mac.I dont know if certain cables carry different currents or types of video im really not sure at all about that but a different cable is worth a try if you havent already!

I've tried 3 different DVI cables, all of which work with my mac pro and my macbook air. on the same display.

I wish I had another display to test this on:confused:

was yours a G4?

Yeah its a 1.42 but still a g4.My t.v has a pc-in port on the back of it im sure you would have thought about if you have one.my tv is a vga so I have it hooked up there with a adapter 24/7.With it working with the vga port I'm at a loss...I would just hook it up like that if it's a last resort.
