Setup as follows:
2020 MacBook Pro
Audioquest DragonFly Cobalt DAC connected from Mac T3 port to 3.5mm AUX adaptor
KEF LS50 Wireless II speakers set to AUX
Audivarna 3.5.44 streaming/playback software
Big Sur 11.2.2
Earlier today, I connected a bluetooth speaker in order to make Skype calls. I’ve since removed this after the volume problem started, but no difference.
The Mac sound settings are set to Audioquest DragonFly Cobalt v1 and the same on the Audirvana DAC settings menu. However, when I start to play a track, the Mac sound settings immediately switches to “Speaker” - this refers to the bluetooth speaker, which isn’t even switched on or connected. The Audirvana DAC setting doesn't change.
I have tried doing the following:
I image that doing a Total Recall on the Mac will cure the issue, but I really don’t want to go that route.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

I have tried doing the following:
- Resetting the NAVRAM on the Mac
- Factory reset the KEF’s
- Deleted and reinstalled the KEF Connect app
- The Cobalt appears to be working correctly and the logo changes colour depending on sample rate
- If I change the Mac and Audivarna DAC settings to MacBook Pro Speakers, I get volume
