To be honest, Apple Did not include the brick charger to keep the price point lower for the entry model. I see their method behind why they did it. And also, to keep the price point lower, they also changed the packaging for the Series 1 from the first generation Apple Watch to a cheaper solution as well.
The argument goes both ways, some prefer it to be included where they pay extra, and others likely have multiple charging bricks available and would rather have the price point of the Sport model cheaper.
I'm ok if they drop the chargers.
I use multi port small brick chargers anyway.
By the time I plug in watches, phones and iPads the power strip is filled up.
Digging through my adaptor/wall wart box the other day and I had 3 Apple chargers and 4 'other' USB chargers. 2 of the Apple chargers still have plastic around them.
