Apple Wallet provides “Info” and “Transactions” on the iPad and iPhone, but on the MacBook, it only shows the Apple Card, phone and website links. Is this normal?

Yes. Wallet is only useful on the iPhone which I’m hoping is fixed with Ventura as it’s absurd not to have that info on other devices.

Which model Macbook?

I might be way off base here, but Wallet is tied to T/M chips, so if an Intel Mac without Touchbar or Magic Keyboard (aka biometrics), no iOS-like Wallet, as that is all handled via Secure Enclave which is T/M function/feature.
