I've realized there is a difference in how resizing works between native Vision Pro apps, and the "compatible apps" iPad versions.

In native Vision Pro apps, when you resize the window, you can actually fit more content into the window - i.e. it works like resizing a window on a desktop Mac.

In "compatible apps", resizing the window simply makes the window physically bigger in AR space - but doesn't actually show any more content. It's basically just a zoom function (that you could also achieve by simply moving the window closer to your face).

This is quite frustrating for apps - like Microsoft Outlook, or even Apple Maps - that would benefit from resizing to show more content. It means anything but native Vision Pro apps are limited to effectively the same information density as a small iPad. Is there any way around this?

It is especially frustrating because most of these apps obviously support dynamic resizing already - e.g. on my desktop Mac I can resize Home, News, Maps, Calendar, etc. to show more content without any problem. It's not obvious why this isn't possible in Vision Pro.
