No way to change computer name.

Greetings,

I have recently bought a macbook 4,1 from a guy, running Mac OSX 10.5.8.

I wanted to change the computer name. But around the net, i saw is, System Preference -> Sharing.

My problem is my System Preference does not have the icon Sharing on it.

I can't change the computer name and there is no way to it.

Is there any other solution to find the Sharing icon or other ways to change computer name without re-installing OS?

Try Repairing Permissions and make sure you're logged in as administrator.

My macbook won't let me change its name
