I´ve been using iPhoto+Photoshop as a photographer for years. Using Iphoto to organize, and photoshop to edit.
After updating to Photos, I was surprised that Apple has not only removed the link between these programs. But they have actually made it so difficult to access your own files, that editing can only be done in their Photos app.
That is unless you export them completely out of the program as new copies, for you to be able to open them in the program of your chosing. They just went full proprietary with pictures and took choice and freedom right out of the formula in my eyes.
Is there anything Im missing? Is the link still there? Or do I have to do it this way now?
I think they even made their own editing software worse than it was.
